スペイン人宣教師フランシスコ・ザビエルが16世紀に来訪した、西日本の小さな県庁所在地に生まれました。当時の敬老の日に生まれたので敬介と命名されました。
I was born in a small city of west Japan, the Yamaguchi Prefectural capital, where a famous Spanish missionary Francisco Xaviel had visited in the 16th. My birthday used to fall on a holiday to pay respect to elderly people “Kei-rou No Hi”. That’s why one of my first name Chinese character “Kei” derives from “Kei-rou”.
大学入学前に偶然出会った一冊の本「英語の次に何をやりますか 多国語学習のすすめ 加藤恭子著/日本英語教育協会」を読んで、動詞の複雑な活用のおかげで主語を主語を省略しても意味が通じる言語としてのスペイン語の面白さを知り、第二外国語でスペイン語を学んだことがその後の人生を大きく変えました。
Just before entering into the university, I encountered a linguistic book that told me how interesting learning Spanish language would be. I have been attracted by the typical feature of that language which does not always require subjects to make sentences due to its rich verb conjugations. I took Spanish as my second foreign language at the university and it has completely changed my life afterwards.
趣味：プロ野球観戦（広島東洋カープ）、フィルムカメラ（大学時代から愛機NIKONを35年以上使い続けています）、冷蔵庫の残り物で作る小腹メシ、（主としてスペイン）ワインを飲むこと、最高裁傍聴など。
Hobbies: Enthusiastic about Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Taking photos with an analog film camera, My Nikon is 35 years old. Preparing quick meals with whatever’s in the fridge, Spanish wine lover, Observing trials at the Supreme Court.
小さな自慢：これまで世界45か国を往訪。一番印象に残っている国はキューバ。日本では沖縄を除く46都道府県を踏破。日本でとくに好きな場所は知床半島（自然に恐怖を感じますが）。
Let me brag a little. I have been to 45 countries. The most impressive country to me is Cuba. As for Japan, I have been to 46 prefectures out of 47 except for Okinawa. My favorite place is Shiretoko in Hokkaido even though the nature there makes me afraid a lot.
